If you would like to move to Europe, perhaps you should visit one of those parties, where the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community celebrates freedom, love and unity. And of course, also there are the wild and luxury parties in those legendary clubs, on the seaside of the of the Mediterranean Sea.
Madrid's Gay Pride (Madrid Orgullo or MADO) attracted two million attendees in 2017 from all corners of the world. From 27 June until 1 July, the central Chueca gay neighbourhood will be the home of concerts, and according to spain-holiday.com: "a high heel race, a water fight, and even the Mr Gay España competition and the traditional Tanga Party"!" will take place as well.
The central event (the LGBT Pride Parade), the largest in Europe, will be on Saturday 30 June 2018. During the festival more than one a half million Spanish and at least 300,000 foreign members of the LGBT community having fun on the streets and squares of the capital.
There is another annually organised and massive gay event in Madrid, the We Pride Festival. Ten days of electronic music and performances across the city with thousands of young and old people.
Benidorm Pride is also a milestone in the 2018 Spanish Gay Festival Calendar between 3-9 September. The party city of Benidorm is the home of more than thirty gay bars and clubs. The main parade will go through the Playa Levante, and that place is the home of the craziest parties of the Mediterranean. Don't worry about the weather in September, Benidorm is an all year round sunny and hot place on the Costa Blanca.
Barcelona Gay Pride 2018
Benidorm is a hidden gem, but Barcelona's LGBT party is the largest in the Mediterranean, between 23 – 30 June 2018. The Catalans are waiting for 250,000 people to attend the event. It is easy to find the area known as "Moll de la Fusta", where the parade will end and which is the centre of the festival with the "Gay Village" and the main stage. Foam party, high heel race, drag queen gala and parties all day and all night long are on the menu.
La Troya 2018 - Ibiza
"The Mother of all parties in Ibiza" is an annually organised event in the Mediterranean paradise island of Ibiza by Brasilio de Oliveira. The venue took place in 2017 in the "Heart club". Oliveira brought more than 200 superstar to the island, among them the "Talk Talk; Ian Dury; James Brown; Freddy Mercury; Suzanne Vega; Spandau Ballet; Brian Adams; Natalie Cole; Joe Cocker; Gloria Gaynor; Fine Young Cannibals; Matt Bianco; Marillion, Chris Rea; Duran Duran; Divine; Silvester; 808 State; The Farm; Adamsky; Front 242; Happy Mondays; Kylie Minogue; and M People".
Velvet in Ibiza is the most famous lesbian event of the European spring, between 26-30 April 2018. According to the Facebook fan page, (https://www.facebook.com/ velvet69.ibiza/) it will be four days and nights of pool parties, dance, music, sunshine and beautiful women.
Carnival de Stiges
The beautiful village of Catalonia, with the carnival, traditionally held in February attracts 300,000 revellers. It is not exclusively an LGBTQ event. Still, thousands of gays and lesbians will have fun on the streets of Sitges. In July the village is the home of a Pride event, and you can enjoy the plenty gay beaches around the settlement.
